Engine Performance - ThrustOne

49 explicitly bounded models across nine engine categories. Explore propulsion performance offline, compare parameters, and export your results.

For propulsion students, educators, and preliminary engineering studies. For Apple silicon Macs running macOS 12 or later, and iPads running iPadOS 16 or later. English only. The first release is in preparation and is not yet available on the App Store.

Calculation scope

Turbojet, turbofan, liquid rocket, solid rocket, ramjet, scramjet, and explicitly simplified TBCC, RBCC, and ATR models. Selected models support constant or variable heat capacity, gas-phase equilibrium, frozen expansion, and finite-rate reactions.

Each model explains its inputs, equations, and limitations in the app. Simplified combined-cycle models do not represent a complete transition cycle. The app does not provide full operating-envelope certification, liquid vaporization, cooling-system design, or complete real back-pressure matching.

From inputs to results

Edit forms or JSON, save and reopen cases, run parameter studies with up to 1,000 points, compare constraints, and perform local one-dimensional optimization under a unimodality assumption. Export results as JSON or CSV and charts as PNG or PDF.
